Keep Proportion In Mind
Although you want the digitally-staged pictures to help make customers feel at home, you don't want to overdo it. Make sure that the furniture you pick is suitably sized for the room. If too big, the room may appear cluttered and much smaller than it actually is. If the furniture is too small, it comes at a disservice to your sellers by not showing the property’s true potential.
Modern Is Best
You want to make sure your decor reads as clean and modern. Potential buyers might find too many accessories and vibrant colors hard to look past. Do you best to show what makes your space unique without going overboard.
Layout Is Everything
Don't just stick couches against the walls and call it a day, maximize the space by choosing the best arrangement for that particular room. That could mean a sectional facing a corner fireplace or in a more symmetrical room, it could mean couches facing each other. Each space is different so make sure to showcase it's potential.
Don't Go Bland
Keep it lively in entertainment or game rooms, pump up the cozy feel in a space with a fireplace, and draw people into the main entrance with some statements furnishings. There is a delicate line between neutral and bland, so pick furniture and decor that inspire potential buyers to call in after looking at the pictures online.
